Our Fees:
Please remember...there are people out there that dearly love
their animals, but cannot afford the services that most degreed animal
behaviorists charge. We help them anyway, but it comes out of our pocket. Our
"No Animal Left Out Policy" means that we will work
with you and your animal even if you can't pay us. We do ask that you work with
us in return, be honest and offer something for trade, or help us find other
clients in need to balance it out, and be fair to us.
The reasoning behind this policy:
We used to charge a flat rate of $125.00 per hour. Then we
would go to a person's home and find that they were actually taking money out of
their rent/mortgage or car payment to pay us. This does not work because
then there will be more stress in the home, (financial) and less time to share
helping the animal. Then we started to reduce our costs, and traded services.
That worked for a time, but then we found ourselves in financial trouble,
which meant no one got our help.
Soooo we devised a sliding scale, and we would appreciate it if
you were honest with us.
Not everyone is going to like this, but we feel it is the most
fair to everyone.
No Income - Free or Trade services, find other client if an option
< $25,000 per year - combined earnings - $20 per hour
$25,000-49,999 per year - combined earnings - $40
per hour
$50,000- $74,999 per year - combined earnings -
$60 per hour
$75,000 - 99,999 per year - combined earnings -
$80 per hour
100,000 + per year - combined earnings - $100 per
hour
Unfortunately we have to do this due to gas prices.
Transylvania and Henderson counties are free travel. Buncombe,
and other counties are a $10 to $40 fee based on distance.
